Creating Quotes
Build professional quotes with line items and pricing
New Quote
- Go to Pipeline
- Click New Quote
- Select a customer (or create one)
- Add your line items
- Review and send
Adding Line Items
Click Add Item for each line:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Description | What you're quoting for |
| Quantity | Number of units |
| Unit | Each, hours, metres, etc. |
| Price | Unit price (ex GST) |
The total calculates automatically including GST.
Line Item Tips
Be specific — "Supply and install 2400x600 overhead cabinets in White Satin" beats "Cabinets".
Group logically — Use separate items for materials and labour if the customer wants to see the breakdown.
Add notes — Click the item to expand and add notes visible only to you.
Using Products
If you've set up your product catalogue:
- Click Add Product
- Search for the product
- Adjust quantity
- Price pulls from your catalogue
Quote Settings
Click Settings on the quote to:
- Change payment terms
- Add a custom message
- Set an expiry date
- Apply a discount (percentage or fixed)
Duplicating Quotes
For similar jobs:
- Open an existing quote
- Click Duplicate
- Select the new customer
- Adjust as needed
