Sending Quotes
Email quotes, download PDFs, and track responses
Once your quote is ready, you have several ways to get it to the customer.
Email Directly
- Click Send Quote
- Select Email
- Choose the recipient (from customer contacts)
- Add a personal message (optional)
- Click Send
The customer receives a professional email with:
- Your quote as a PDF attachment
- A link to view and accept online
- Your contact details
Download PDF
- Click Send Quote
- Select Download PDF
- Save or print the file
Use this when you want to:
- Hand-deliver the quote
- Send via your own email
- Print for a meeting
Customer Portal
When you email a quote, the customer gets a link to view it online. They can:
- View the full quote
- Accept or decline
- Add comments
- Request changes
You're notified when they respond.
Tracking Quote Status
In Pipeline, quotes show their status:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Draft | Not yet sent |
| Sent | Waiting for response |
| Viewed | Customer has opened it |
| Accepted | Ready to convert to job |
| Declined | Customer said no |
Following Up
If a quote hasn't been viewed or responded to:
- Open the quote
- Click Resend
- Add a follow-up message
- Click Send
