Products Catalogue

Your product catalogue stores everything you regularly use — materials, products, standard services. Add them once, use them forever.

Adding a Product

1. Go to Inventory → Products
2. Click Add Product
3. Fill in the details:
   • Name — Clear, searchable name
   • SKU — Your internal code (optional)
   • Category — Group similar products
   • Cost price — What you pay
   • Sell price — What you charge
   • Unit — Each, metre, kg, hour, etc.
4. Click Save

Categories

Organise products into categories:

• Timber
• Hardware
• Benchtops
• Labour
• Subcontractors

Create categories in Inventory → Categories.

Pricing

Set both cost and sell prices:

Using Products in Quotes

When creating a quote:

1. Click Add Product
2. Search by name or SKU
3. Select the product
4. Adjust quantity
5. Price fills automatically

Bulk Import

Have a supplier price list? Import it:

1. Go to Inventory → Products
2. Click Import
3. Upload a CSV with columns: name, sku, category, cost, sell, unit
4. Map columns and import

Updating Prices

When supplier prices change:

1. Find the product
2. Click Edit
3. Update the cost price
4. Optionally update the sell price
5. Click Save

Existing quotes aren't affected — only new quotes use the new price.
