Job Stages

Stages represent the steps in your workflow. Customise them to match how you actually work.

Default Stages

Klearcut starts with these stages:

1. New — Just converted from quote
2. In Progress — Work underway
3. On Hold — Waiting on something
4. Complete — Work finished, ready to invoice

Customising Stages

1. Go to Settings → Pipeline
2. You'll see your current stages

Add a Stage

1. Click Add Stage
2. Enter the stage name (e.g., "Awaiting Materials")
3. Choose a colour
4. Drag to position it in the order
5. Click Save

Edit a Stage

1. Click on the stage name
2. Change the name or colour
3. Click Save

Delete a Stage

1. Click the × next to the stage
2. Choose where to move existing jobs
3. Click Delete

Stage Ideas by Trade

Cabinet Makers:

• Quote Sent → Accepted → Measure Up → In Production → Ready for Install → Installed → Complete

Plumbers:

• New Lead → Quote Sent → Booked In → On Site → Complete → Invoiced

Builders:

• Enquiry → Quoting → Approved → Scheduled → In Progress → Practical Completion → Defects → Complete

Board View

See your jobs as a kanban board:

1. Go to Pipeline → Jobs
2. Click the Board toggle
3. Drag jobs between columns to change their stage
