Stock Tracking
Monitor stock levels and set up alerts
Track what's in stock so you never run out mid-job.
Enabling Stock Tracking
Not all products need stock tracking (e.g., labour hours). Enable it per product:
- Open the product
- Click Edit
- Turn on Track Stock
- Enter the current quantity
- Set a Reorder Point (optional)
- Click Save
Stock Levels
View stock levels in Inventory → Stock:
- In Stock — Current quantity
- Committed — Allocated to jobs not yet complete
- Available — In stock minus committed
- On Order — Ordered but not received
Adjusting Stock
Manual Adjustment
For stock takes or corrections:
- Click the product
- Click Adjust Stock
- Enter the new quantity (or +/- adjustment)
- Add a reason note
- Click Save
Receiving Stock
When deliveries arrive:
- Go to Inventory → Receive Stock
- Select the supplier
- Add items received
- Enter quantities
- Click Receive
Low Stock Alerts
Set up alerts so you know when to reorder:
- Open the product
- Set the Reorder Point (e.g., 10 units)
- When stock falls below this, you'll see a warning
View all low stock items in Inventory → Low Stock.
Stock History
Track every movement:
- Open a product
- Click History
- See all adjustments:
- Received from supplier
- Used on jobs
- Manual adjustments
- Returns
