Importing Customers
Bulk import customers from CSV or spreadsheet
Already have a customer list? Import them in bulk.
Prepare Your File
Create a CSV file with these columns:

Export from Excel or Google Sheets as CSV. Make sure the first row contains column headers.
Import Steps
- Go to Customers
- Click Import in the top right
- Click Choose File and select your CSV
- Map your columns to Klearcut fields
- Review the preview
- Click Import
Column Mapping
If your column names don't match exactly, you'll see a mapping screen:
- Select which column in your file matches each Klearcut field
- Skip columns you don't need
- Preview shows how the data will import
After Import
- New customers appear in your customer list
- Duplicates are flagged (matched by email or name)
- Review and merge duplicates as needed
Troubleshooting
Import failed?
- Check your CSV is valid (try opening in Excel)
- Ensure required columns have data
- Remove special characters from the file
Missing data?
- Check column mapping was correct
- Re-import with corrected mapping
