Adding Customers
Create and edit customer records in Klearcut
Creating a New Customer
- Go to Customers in the main navigation
- Click Add Customer
- Fill in the details:
- Name — Business or individual name
- Email — Primary contact email
- Phone — Contact number
- Address — Billing or site address
- Click Save
Editing a Customer
- Go to Customers
- Click on the customer you want to edit
- Click Edit in the top right
- Make your changes
- Click Save
Deleting a Customer
- Open the customer record
- Click Edit
- Scroll to the bottom and click Delete Customer
Deleting a customer also removes their job history. Consider marking them as inactive instead if you need to keep records.
Quick Add from Quote
When creating a quote, you can add a new customer on the fly:
- In the customer field, type the new customer's name
- Click Create new customer
- Fill in their details
- Continue with your quote
