Xero Integration

Sync invoices and payments between Klearcut and Xero.

Connecting to Xero

1. Go to Settings → Integrations
2. Click Connect to Xero
3. Log in to your Xero account
4. Authorise Klearcut to access your data
5. Select the Xero organisation to connect
6. Click Connect

What Syncs

Invoice Sync

When you create and send an invoice in Klearcut:

1. Invoice is created in Xero automatically
2. Uses your Xero invoice template
3. Mapped to the correct customer (created if new)
4. Line items and totals match exactly

Payment Sync

Payments sync both ways:

• Record a payment in Klearcut → Appears in Xero
• Record a payment in Xero → Appears in Klearcut

Sync runs every few minutes.

Account Mapping

Map Klearcut categories to Xero accounts:

1. Go to Settings → Integrations → Xero
2. Click Account Mapping
3. For each product category, select the Xero revenue account
4. Click Save

Troubleshooting

Invoice didn't sync?

• Check the invoice is sent (not draft)
• Look for errors in Settings → Integrations → Sync Log
• Ensure the customer email matches in both systems

Duplicate customers?

• Klearcut matches by email address
• If no match, a new contact is created in Xero
• Merge duplicates in Xero if needed

Need to disconnect?

1. Go to Settings → Integrations
2. Click Disconnect Xero
3. Confirm
