Adding Team Members
Invite users and manage roles and permissions
Bring your team into Klearcut so everyone can access jobs, quotes, and customers.
Inviting a Team Member
- Go to Settings → Team
- Click Invite Member
- Enter their email address
- Select a role
- Click Send Invite
They'll receive an email with a link to create their account.
Roles
| Role | What They Can Do |
|---|---|
| Admin | Everything — full access to all features and settings |
| Manager | View and edit all jobs, quotes, invoices. Can't change billing or team settings |
| Technician | View and update jobs assigned to them. Can add notes and photos |
| Viewer | Read-only access to jobs and customers |
Custom Permissions
Need more control? Adjust permissions per user:
- Go to Settings → Team
- Click on the team member
- Click Permissions
- Toggle individual permissions:
- Create quotes
- Create invoices
- View all jobs (not just assigned)
- Access reports
- Manage inventory
- Click Save
Managing Team Members
Change Role
- Go to Settings → Team
- Click on the team member
- Select a new role
- Click Save
Remove from Team
- Go to Settings → Team
- Click on the team member
- Click Remove
- Confirm
Their account is deactivated. Jobs assigned to them remain but can be reassigned.
Pending Invites
View invitations that haven't been accepted:
- Go to Settings → Team
- Click Pending Invites
- Resend or cancel invitations as needed
